It's A New Year With Grandma Jo

It's a new year, and Susie and I are so thankful for all God has given us. Two great sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and the most beautiful grandchildren on the planet. We also have the opportunity to make memories with my mom, who is living near us here in Oxford. She is struggling a little bit with the concept that she is getting older and not able to do some of the things she has been able to do in the past. Even so, she still gets out for church activities and social gatherings once a month with her high school friends. Unlike my brother Kendall, I was able to avoid Mom's genetic disposition to being a little stubborn and hard headed, so it is a challenge sometimes to get her to follow the doctors orders concerning some health issues, but we are able to share a lot of laughs as her life style changes. She doesn't appreciate that I sometimes laugh more than she does though. With all of that said, some may wonder how mom is doing, so I video taped her as she led the Children's Church service Sunday morning. Hope you enjoy it. -Randy
