Sweet Summertime

Sweet Summertime.

Susie and I have been out of school for almost three weeks now and spent most of it on the road somewhere. Now that we are home I can finally organize my files and get some things posted about our travels.

So, as my second son once wrote, "first to start."

Our summer usually begins by going to the Gillispie family reunion over the Memorial Day holiday. This year, my mom rode with Susie and me to Pomme de Terre Lake in Missouri for the "doins" there. We had a great time and mom was very complimentary about my careful driving habits.

I made a little video of the trip. It is about 9 minutes long so it may be a problem to watch if you have dial up internet.

I have high speed just don't have 9 minutes ;) Just kidding. Thanks for doing the vids! Your great-grand kids will thank you someday.

Loved the video. Would have loved it more at 5 minutes. Man you start a blog and nobody has anything nice to say. HA. It is nice to see everyone since I couldn't be there in person.
